History of ESP at the National Agricultural Library
For several years the various National Boards were wanting to archive the history of the National ESP Organization. In 2009 there was
change of National Executive Directors when Linda Cook retired. Rather than sending all of the historical data to the new National ESP Office which was located in Idaho, the Board hired Linda to sort through the historical information and prepare all but the last seven years of material to be archived.
President Sandy Corridon, whose office is located within a few miles of the National Agricultural Library, contacted those in charge of the "Special Collections" at the library about including ESP's historical information in their collection. They argeed that would be appropriate information to be stored at the library.
After the materials were reviewed, they were shipped to Maryland where the Tau Chapter and some of the National Board members gathered to continue the shorting and cataloguing process. On May 2, 2011 the eight boxes of material were delivered to the National Agricultural Library where they will receive the final processing before they are catalogued in as part of the "Special Collections" at the library.
